Don't sweat the small stuff
My Story
When I started my career, I was the stereotypical corporate warrior.I worked over 100 hours a week to prove myself. I was terrified to make any mistakes; I didn't take a single vacation for five years, and I worked late nights and weekends, thinking this was the only way I could ever succeed.Did I make it? Absolutely, but at a devastating cost. One evening I received my wake-up call. I was shocked when my husband blindsided me with divorce papers, stating that I'd neglected our relationship. I was actively choosing to make my life harder than it needed to be, and I suffered for it.My grandfather always told me not to "sweat the small stuff," and focusing on the small stuff was all I'd been doing! That's when I changed everything and started to work smarter, not harder.

Now, I prioritize mental clarity, strategic thinking, and personal well-being. I've created boundaries, dedicated time for my husband and children, and still excel in my 20-year corporate career. I manage global teams across 20 countries, saving my corporation hundreds of millions of dollars while driving profitable growth of 15% per annum. My approach proves you can have it all without burning out—a lesson I'm passionate about sharing with other professionals.I invite you to follow me on my journey of showing how to climb the corporate ladder without sacrificing yourself or your dreams! Work Life Harmony
CFO Mom
As a CFO mom, I’ve learned that harmony—not perfection—is key to thriving in both corporate life and motherhood.I've spent decades of navigating all sorts of challenges and for a while I thought being a mom in the corporate world wasn't going to be easy at all. However, I learned to prioritize clarity, intentionality, and time for reflection to balance the demands of leading senior-level teams while cherishing my family.By carving out time to think, ask questions, and focus on what truly matters, I’ve found that success isn’t about doing it all but doing what matters most—both at work and at home.
